Very painful and slow recovery, but beatable! Dont go too fast too son, but if it does not change your stride or gait while running, keep going and take acre of yourself!
http://runningfool-ootaynee.blogspot.com/Chadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17849682281180104077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2108497595241542176.post-56387866164961913952009-12-28T17:27:47.807-08:002009-12-28T17:27:47.807-08:00Hmmmm... When I was training for the Buffalo Half...Patrick,

When I was training for the Buffalo Half-Marathon last May, I had to take almost a week off from training because of a serious bout of bronchitis and a sinus infection. I totally panicked because my doctor told me I had to stop running for at least five days. When I talked to my coach he assured me that a few days off would not destroy my entire training program. If you keep up with your long runs at the very least, you should be able to work your way back into your normal training. Just don't rush in too quickly! That only reaggravates injuries.

BTW, I suffered from ITBS until I started using an ITBS strap and doing stretches that worked specifically on that area on the outside of the knee. Because of that, I haven't had real issues with my IT band for over a year now. Check out the strap:

http://www.ithacasports.com/ilbaitbacowr.html

Just take it easy getting back into your training. I'm sure you'll do just fine!Erin Conleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12560914834163706133noreply@blogger.com
